Consulting and Training

I incorporate a systemic perspective into all of the work that I do, which enables me to support the development and empowerment of young people and those that support them. The consulting work and training that I offer is often bespoke and dependent on the organisation. What I specialise in is improving communication, leadership development, peer mentoring, youth empowerment, learning spaces, facilitation training and support, global learning and developing social and environmental awareness.

Mentoring and Coaching

For over ten years I have been supporting young people in their development, helping them discover their passion in life and work out a ways of doing more of what they love. I have supported people as a director of an organisation and employer, manager, facilitator and mentor. I offer 1-1 or group mentoring and coaching sessions in order to support young people to work out where they want to be, what steps they need to take, what support they have in place and what they need in order to be happy and successful in a way which is meaningful to them.

Event organising and facilitation

I co-design and facilitate events which inform, create space for inquiry and inspire to action. Most of the work I do is based on World Cafe (www.theworldcafe.com), Open Space Technology and Systemic/Field based facilitation. For the last two years I have been developing the Green Vision Youth Climate Summit which brings together young people between the ages of 14-18 years from schools across Bath and North East Somerset to be inspired to take action on global issues that face society today on a community level. This event is now hosted by a local school and is an annual event in the school calendar. This event is supported by University students, parents, governors and active community members in the local area which is what enables the event and the outcomes of the event to be so successful.
